Pricey's Preview of the Ballydoyle runner at Doha today

13:15pm GMT Doha -  H.H The Amir Trophy Local Group 1

Hunting Horn - Ryan Moore Horse Profile - Jockey Colours
The 4YO son of Camelot has made 13 career starts to date winning 2 and placing 6 times. His career highlight came at Royal Ascot 2018 when impressively winning the Hampton Court Stakes Group 3 by over 4 lengths this came after 2 promising 3rds in classic trials. Hunting Horn also finished 3rd in the Grade One Belmont Derby and 2nd at Longchamp in the Qatar Prix Niel Group 2.

Hunting Horn made his seasonal reappearance at Gulfstream Park on January 26th when he contested the W. L. McKnight Stakes Grade 3 it was not the smoothest of races for Hunting Horn but finished full of running in 3rd place and but for the traffic problems he was subjected to could have quite easily have won the race.

One thing is for sure he looks to have matured well and remains to be progressive I guess this was the main reason he was kept in training at Ballydoyle there certainly appears to be plenty left in the tank.
On racing post ratings Hunting Horn is 4 pounds clear of Noor Al Hawa (The second highest rated) & has the benefit of a run I also think the step up in trip will help Hunting Horn so all in all Hunting Horn should take alot of beating giving Ballydoyle their first win of the season.
