Four trainers have called Ballydoyle home all of which shared the same surname O'Brien beginning with its legendary founder & Creator Michael Vincent. His brother Phonsie stepped in to take over at Ballydoyle when his brother served a short suspension in 1960. Vincent's son David also trained horses at Ballydoyle in the 1980's And finally Aidan who was to become a worldbeater from his base at Ballydoyle.
