Bred in the purple, this filly is currently 3x5 in-bred into Northern Dancer, which is often referred to as the 'engine room', as you will see with the likes of Minding and Taghrooda in recent years, they were in-bred into the engine room and look at what happened to them. In the same race, Zagitova, is also the same and in-bred into the engine room as well.

Alex's Bloodstock Spotlight Part 2 Blenheim Palace Syndney Opera house & Barbados

Curragh 2:15

Blenheim Palace

Galileo x Meow (Storm Cat)

This wonderfully bred colt is by the almighty Galileo o/o the well-known Meow, who has produced two superstars in the dual Guineas winner Churchill, along with the fantastic two-year-old Clemmie who won last season's Cheveley Park. The dam, Meow, was a 5 furlong two-year-old winner, including a Listed event, being a half-sister to Group 3 winner Aloof ad out of a 6 furlong two-year-old Group One winner herself.

There is only one in-breeding line going through this colt, Churchill and Clemmie, which is fascinating in itself. Northern Dancer is in-bred into all three of them by being on the 3rd and 4th line, making him 3x4 in-bred into the lot of them. Whilst Indian Ridge flows through the dam's maternal line, which is something worth noting.

Dansili x Ideal (Galileo)

Image result for dansili sire

This is the 4th foal out of Ideal, a Galileo mare, where the Dansili x Galileo knick hasn’t really got off the ground as of yet. That being said, the Sadler’s Wells cross with Dansili has been seen to good effect, producing new stallion Flintshire. This colt has entries in the Champagne Stakes and the Epsom Derby for next season, whilst he is closely related to 1m6f winner Inverloc and is a half-brother to Aveiro. The dam, Ideal, is a 1m2f winner and is closely related to 2,000 Guineas and dual Derby winner Camelot, currently the hot sire sensation. Camelot and Ideal are out of 1m1f Group 3 winner Tarfah.

The Corporal is 2x3 in-bred into Danehill, which isn’t typically known as being in-bred into the second line can cause deformities. Northern Dancer shows up on the sire and dam’s 3rd generation as well, making him 3x3 in-bred, with Mr Prospector 4x5 in-bred but the most important lines here is Natalma on the 5th generation, showing up 3 times, with in-breeding to dam’s something becoming more mainstream.
